The information about the Bucknell churchyard has been kindly provided by the Bucknell branch of the Women's Institute and is provided for those who wish to research family history.  The work was carried out between 1984 and 1985.  Many thanks also to the vicar of Bucknell, the Rev Eileen Tavernor for allowing this information to be made available.

The plan below is only an approximation of the positions of the some 350 gravestones and memorials within the churchyard.  The earliest legible inscription records a death in 1701, but a significant number of inscriptions were completely illegible.

The inscriptions were catalogued in 1985 and now, some 20 years later, many of the gravestones will have suffered further deterioration making them almost illegible.
